Research / FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short, factual answers about how the research program works.
- What is Encevra research?
- Encevra SI Research Labs studies how capable AI models should be organized into systems that ground claims in evidence, verify, collaborate and correct themselves. Results are published as numbered research rounds at research.encevra.com, and Noetis is the architecture where the ideas are tested.
- What is the Theory of Collaborative Intelligence?
- It is the working theory behind the research program: a set of named propositions about how independent model witnesses should be combined into one reliable decision. Each proposition carries a status of Open, Supported or Refuted and links to the rounds behind it. Theory v1 is planned for Round 50.
- How are research rounds published?
- Each round is a dated paper with a research question, methods, results, limitations and a next step. Rounds state which experiments were executed and which are only proposed, and recent rounds include a PDF and a reproducibility package.
- How do I cite a research round?
- Every round page has a Cite this button that copies a BibTeX or APA citation. Citations name Benjamin Wilkins as author, Encevra as publisher, the year, the round title and the round URL in the form https://research.encevra.com/round-NN.
- What do Witness A, Witness B, Witness C and Witness D mean?
- They are the labels used in the papers for independent model witnesses, the separate models that read the same evidence in an experiment. The labels keep results comparable across rounds without naming the underlying models.
- What is in a reproducibility package?
- Recent rounds ship a ZIP package alongside the PDF. It contains the canonical manuscript and the materials needed to rerun or check the deterministic diagnostics described in the paper, so results can be inspected rather than taken on trust.
- Do the research results change Encevra products automatically?
- No. Each round reports its architecture impact. A recommended structure is tested before it is adopted, and many rounds state that no production system changed.
